Bears draft picks 2024: When does Chicago pick? Full list of NFL Draft selections image

The Chicago Bears enter the 2024 NFL Draft looking to usher in a new era.

Coming off a 7-10 season and fourth in the NFC North, the Bears find themselves in a peculiar situation. They hold the top pick in the draft, but it's not because they earned it due to a poor record. Instead, they hold the top pick thanks to the poor record of the Carolina Panthers.

General manager Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus enter their third season with the team and will be working with a rookie quarterback after trading former first-round selection Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason.

Despite holding two selections in the top 10, the Bears only have four total draft picks to work with in 2024.

The Sporting News is tracking the Bears' 2024 NFL Draft selections, from round one to seven. Follow along with the picks below.

Bears' NFL Draft needs

  • Quarterback: After moving on from Fields, the Bears have a massive hole at the game's most important position. Holding the No. 1 overall pick, it is widely expected the Bears will use that selection to bring in a new quarterback to help lead the team into a new era.
  • Edge Rusher: The Bears made a solid move trading for Montez Sweat at the deadline during the 2023 season, but Chicago could use more depth and starting potential for the edge spot opposite Sweat.
  • Wide Receiver: Having DJ Moore and Keenan Allen lead the wide receiver room is strong, but the Bears could use more depth behind them. Surrounding their incoming rookie quarterback with as much talent as possible should be the top priority for the front office during the draft.
