The Chicago Bears' offense should be in great shape in 2024.
Chicago's offense took a step forward last year and it should be even better this upcoming season. One of the biggest reasons why the Bears' offense was better last year was because they were able to acquire star receiver D.J. Moore from the Carolina Panthers.
Moore gave the Bears a true No. 1 playmaker on the outside and he responded by having his best season yet in the National Football League. The 27-year-old racked up a career-high 1,364 receiving yards and added eight receiving touchdowns. He even chipped in one rushing touchdown, as well.
He had such a good season, that he recently was named an honorable mention in ESPN's list of the top receivers in football, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
"An underrated playmaker with four 1,000-yard seasons despite uneven quarterback play throughout his career," Fowler said. "Gave Chicago a bona fide No. 1 option with 1,364 yards in 2023. 'Has the ability to take a game completely over," an NFL executive said.'"
ESPN put together a list of the top 10 receivers in football with eight honorable mentions as well. Moore cracked the honorable mention category and could rise even higher in 2024 thanks to the addition of young phenom Caleb Williams.
Things certainly are looking up for the Bears and fans should be excited with training camp almost here.
