The Carolina Panthers find themselves with a revamped receiving core going into the 2024 season. With trade addition Diontae Johnson locked in as the number one on the team alongside veteran stud Adam Thielen, and first round pick Xavier Legette, it doesn't leave much room for the other young investments on the team to thrive.
One of those young investments in former second round pick Terrace Marshall Jr. who despite having plenty of talent, has really failed to produce in what has been an abysmal offensive situation in Carolina during his tenure. Marshall seems to have gotten the message and locked in during the 2024 training camp, as he has been clearly one of the most improved players on the roster and showing off what he can do in this Dave Canales offense. Despite this, Pro Football Network's Anthony DiBona lists Marshall as a prime trade candidate for the Panthers. DiBona cites that other teams will be willing to take a chance on Marshall's size and potential that made him such a high draft selection in the 2021 draft.
We will see if that ultimately comes to fruition. Carolina wouldn't likely get much outside of a bottom end draft pick for Marshall, and with Bryce Young needing as much help as he can get, any chance of a Marshall breakout could be worth banking on as opposed to letting him show off for another team.
