Throughout the course of the National Football League season, analysts will make a lot of predictions. They will range from game and award predictions to potential moves in the offseason. Back in November, CBS's Nate Burleson predicted that the Buffalo Bills would end up moving on from wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Back then, it felt crazy to think about. Diggs was going to carry a dead cap hit of $31 million and it felt like lunacy to move on from a player that good with that sizable of a dead cap hit. He received criticism at the time but turned out to be proven correct. On Wednesday, Burleson fired back with a very clever response focused on getting some Buffalo wings.
So…when I said “I don’t believe @stefondiggs will be in Buffalo next season”, y’all were quick to tell me how uneducated I was on the sport I played professionally for 11yrs and have covered extensively for the last decade.

News breaks and I must admit,
🗣️ Your silence is… https://t.co/hDEQHpU9Hm
Normally in situations like this, you would see a really feisty response and it would be warranted. The response from Burleson is great in that it calls the individuals out but stays very classy and professional. Good on him for taking the high road.
