The Buffalo Bills made headlines this past offseason when they made the shocking decision to trade four-time Pro Bowl receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans.
There had been several rumors of a falling out between the star receiver and Josh Allen, as well as a relationship with Sean McDermott that fell apart. Now, in an interview with GQ, Diggs said he left both the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills simply because he wanted out.
"None of those teams wanted to get rid of me," Diggs said. "Things had to shake because I kind of wanted them to shake."
Diggs now makes up one of the potentially best receiving groups in football with the Texans, playing alongside Nico Collins and Tank Dell who helped Houston get to the divisional round of the playoffs last season.
The Bills added several new receivers over the course of the spring, signing Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling and drafting Keon Coleman in the second round of the NFL Draft..
