The Buffalo Bills had a rough offseason in terms of roster overhaul. So many of the players and faces that fans knew and loved have now go on to different teams but one constant remains, Josh Allen. If you were to have one thing left on a roster that you can rely on, Allen is arguably one of the safest options.
However, Josh Allen needs some support. The offensive line is set and well-established with players such as Dion Dawkins. What about the offensive weapons around him? Well, that is where someone needs to step up.
Speaking at their training camp this week, Dalton Kincaid spoke to the media about the Bills' new offense, specifically their approach to making sure everyone does their job to lift the offense.
“I’m just out there to do my job and catch the ball when it’s thrown my way, you know our saying is ‘Everybody eats’ on this offense, and everybody is going to eat so if it’s a game I catch 10 passes, awesome. If it’s a game, I catch zero passes, it’s awesome as long as we’re winning.”
Ironically, Dalton Kincaid could be poised to get a lot more work in the Bills' offense. Fellow tight end Dawson Knox has proven to be a favorite and reliable target of Josh Allen, so Kincaid could find himself in the same role with Gabriel Davis's departure this offseason.
The Bills' offense is going to be very interesting in 2024. The “Everybody eats” offense is a good approach in theory. It will be interesting to see how it is put into practice and who benefits.
