The Buffalo Bills have dipped their hands into the WWE and amateur wrestling pool by signing former WWE, NCAA National Champion and Olympic Gold Medal-winning amateur wrestler Gable Steveston to a contract. The news was first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Steveson is one of the United States' most decorated heavyweight wrestlers having won multiple National Championships at the University of Minnesota and a gold medal in the Olympics where he did so in a massive come-from-behind victory in the gold medal match.

Steveson will try to do what former Minnesota National Champion wrestler and WWE and UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar couldn't do in 2004 with the Minnesota Vikings: make the team.

Steveson is likely to be a 3-Tech defensive tackle in the NFL but will need to bulk up, as he weighs just 275 lbs.
