The Buffalo Bills are 3-2 after consecutive losses in Weeks 4 and 5. They will look to avoid a third straight loss next Monday night when they travel to MetLife Stadium and take on the New York Jets. However, they won't be facing a team led by Robert Saleh.
In a very surprising move, the Jets fired Saleh on Tuesday morning after a 2-3 start and a loss in London to the Minnesota Vikings. Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich will be the team's interim head coach.
All the distractions and disfunction could end up benefitting the Bills. With a win, they will go to 4-2 and have a two game-lead over the Jets and the Miami Dolphins heading into Week 7. The Dolphins also don't have a starting-caliber quarterback, as Tua Tagovailoa is dealing with a head injury. If the Bills get two games ahead of everyone else in the division, they'll have the division all but wrapped up.
The Bills will return home after a three-game road stretch in Week 7 to host the Tennessee Titans and travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks in Week 8.
