The Buffalo Bills are 2-0 following their 31-10 Thursday night win over the Miami Dolphins, and they had several players ready to make names for themselves, as well as guys that were ready to show the league they are amongst the NFL's best. Here are the biggest risers after Week 2.
CB Ja'Marcus Ingram
Ingram didn't have a great Week 1 performance after he was surprisingly made the top nickel corner after the injury to Taron Johnson. However, he bounced back in a huge way. Ingram picked off two Tua Tagovailoa passes, returning one for a touchdown that all but sealed the Bills' win. He allowed no receptions on one target and completely shut down whomever the Dolphins lined up in the slot. What a performance for the University of Buffalo product.
S Cam Lewis
Cam Lewis was quite literally everywhere for Buffalo. He had snaps along the line of scrimmage, in the box, in the slot, at cornerback - they utilized him in every way they could, and he delivered. He had four tackles and was also applying pressure off the edge on multiple occasions. The Bills and Sean McDermott always seem to get something out of these late-round or undrafted defensive backs, and Lewis is just the latest example of that.
CB Christian Benford
Facing a duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, Benford gave up a grand total of four catches for 25 yards and had an interception on the night. The duo of Benford and Rasul Douglas may be the best tandem in football.
EDGE Von Miller
Miller registered a sack for the second straight game and was the highest graded Bills player by PFF. He seems to be getting back to form after a rough 2023 season.
RB James Cook
I said it in the keys to victory that the Bills would have a big James Cook game, and that turned out to be an understatement. Cook had 95 yards from scrimmage on 12 touches and three touchdowns. Amongst all skill players in the NFL, he may be the most underrated and could find himself in the All-Pro conversation.
