The Buffalo Bills look very different at safety in 2024.
They released Jordan Poyer at the beginning of the offseason, and Micah Hyde was not re-signed. Buffalo did, however, bring back Taylor Rapp, who was their third safety a season ago and sealed Buffalo’s AFC East crown by intercepting Tua Tagovailoa to end Week 18. The Bills also signed Mike Edwards from the Kansas City Chiefs and drafted Cole Bishop out of Utah, the latter of which is already making plays in training camp.
During team drills in training camp, Bishop read Josh Allen’s eyes and jumped in front of a pass up the seam and nearly picked it off, settling for a PBU.
Cole Bishop as the post safety just jumped a Josh Allen seam ball in the red zone for a PBU. Could’ve/should’ve been a pick#Bills #BillsMafia #GoBills

Bishop was a semi-finalist for the Jim Thorpe award in 2023 and was a College Football Network Second-Team All-American. Don’t be surprised if he is a starter before the season's end.
