The Buffalo Bills are coming off their two worst games of the Joe Brady era, and Josh Allen had one of the worst games of his NFL career in Week 5 against the Houston Texans, going 9-of-30 through the air.
Buffalo was without their top receiver, Khalil Shakir, but it's wild to think that the offense could fall off so hard and not have anyone get open without No. 10 in the lineup. Despite the struggles and the small losing streak, offensive coordinator Joe Brady isn't worried, even if the fans are.
"We believe in who we have," Brady said. "We believe in the unit. We believe in the guy throwing the football... it's not just words. It's belief... the sky hasn't fallen."
If the sky hasn't fallen, it's at least beginning to. The Bills could not separate whatsoever against the Texans, but they also got away from their philosophy. Brady has done a great job at leaning on the run game and having more of an efficient passing game rather than living and dying off deep balls. However, Buffalo's offense abandoned all of that against the Texans. They'll need to get back to their identity offensively if they want to avoid a third straight loss and defeat the Jets next Monday night.
