The Baltimore Ravens may have pulled out a thrilling, 41-38 overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5, but Lamar Jackson wasn't a happy camper afterward.
Despite one of the best games of his career — 26-of-42 passing for 348 yards and 4 touchdowns, plus 55 rushing yards — Jackson couldn't help but stew about late-game mistakes. Specifically, Jackson was still mad at himself for snapping a fumble in overtime which the Bengals recovered, giving them a short field.
Luckily, for Jackson and the Ravens, the Bengals missed the potential game-winning field goal, giving Baltimore life. The Ravens came down the field on the other end and kicked the game-winning field goal.
According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, the Ravens locker room was a raucous celebration, but Jackson was not pleased.
"This is not an exciting win for me at all ... I'm ticked off about that," Jackson told reporters (via Hensley) about the fumble. "But we got it done, so it's cool. We got the win; that's all that matters."
Jackson also fumbled a snap in the fourth quarter on 2nd-and-goal. He recovered the ball and scrambled from defenders, stiff-arming one, before throwing an incredible falling-down touchdown pass to Isaiah Likely — one of the best plays of his career.

After the game Jackson simply called the play, "cool."
It's not the first time this season that Jackson has been less-than-pleased with how a winning effort ended. After the Ravens nearly blew a 20-point lead to the Cowboys in Week 3 — before Jackson helped them seal the win — Jackson bristled at cornerback Marlon Humphrey going on Instagram Live to celebrate the win.
Jackson seems intent on winning big this year and won't accept anything less than a stellar performance on all fronts.
On Sunday, Jackson also took to X to say he will only be pleased with a Super Bowl win.

After two MVPs and an AFC Championship performance, Jackson seems to only care about taking the next step in his career. It's a drive and dedication that may suit him and Baltimore well this season.
