Lamar Jackson has apparently used this offseason to slim down.

While appearing on Complex's "I Got Time," Jackson responded to a tweet that read, "Lamar Jackson is definitely 2019 MVP slim now … It may get spooky."

Jackson said in response that he's dropped 25 lb since 2022.

"Most definitely,"Jackson said. "I was 230 two years ago. I was 215 last season, but now I'm like 205."

It's unclear why Jackson dropped the weight, especially coming off a season in which he threw for a career-high 3,678 yards with a career-best 67.2% completion.

In April, Kevin Oestreicher of Locked On Ravens noted that Jackson looked noticeably slimmer.

According to the Ravens' official website, Strength & Conditioning Coordinator Scott Elliott said Jackson is in "great" shape and that he's excited about what the 2024 season holds for Jackson.

"Lamar is in great shape, and what it's allowing us to do … is to add lean muscle on top of it. So, I would say this: I've never been more excited in April for Lamar Jackson.
