The Baltimore Ravens will gladly live with Kyle Hamilton's supposed weaknesses.
Hamilton was ranked as the NFL's second best safety is a poll of NFL executives, coaches, and scouts conducted by ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
However, one anonymous executive said Hamilton "doesn't fit the bill for everyone." That same executive said Hamilton works well for the Ravens.
Indeed, despite Hamilton ranking as the second-best safety, Fowler reported that some NFL personnel had concerns about Hamilton's speed, which makes the Ravens use him more as a linebacker than a deep safety.
Still, one scout showered praise on Hamilton.
"The ultimate Swiss Army knife that was used to in every way possible last season," the scout told Fowler. "He was a defender opposing offenses had to be aware of on every snap."
The latest ranking is further confirmation that Hamilton is viewed as one of the NFL's best players. PFF ranked Hamilton as the 2nd best safety in the league while CBS ranked Hamilton as the 36th best player in the league.
Meanwhile, Ravens safety Marcus Williams also received votes in Fowler's poll, with one coordinator saying Williams' "ball skills are rare."
