Baltimore Ravens rookie cornerback Nate Wiggins certainly looks the part against other NFL players.

Wiggins, who the Ravens took in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, is long and athletic, and his skills were on display during a recent workout.

Steph Brown, an NFL skills trainer, posted a video to Instagram that showed Wiggins taking one-on-one reps against New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Javon Baker.

A few select plays during an offseason workout doesn’t mean much, but Wiggins flashed quick feet, good instincts, and good hands in defending Baker.

The Ravens have been open about their excitement about Wiggins. During the draft, John Harbaugh told reporters that he and the Ravens’ defensive coaches were joking about the prospect of Wiggins falling to them at No. 30.

“Me and about five of the defensive coaches before the draft started about 7:45, it came up: ‘What if Wiggins falls to us? Wouldn’t that be something?’” Harbaugh said. “We were like, ‘Nah, that’ll never happen. That couldn’t happen, but how good would that look in our defense?’ It worked out, and it came true. So, we’re excited.”

Harbaugh said that Wiggins has to “come in and prove it” when it comes to earning playing time. There’s a long way to go until the regular season, but already the Ravens seem to have a solid cornerback prospect on their hands.
