Baltimore Ravens linebacker Kyle Van Noy is off to a roaring start to the 2024 NFL season.
The 33-year-old Van Noy already has six sacks, second-most in the NFL, to go with eight tackles and one forced fumble.
Van Noy on Thursday was named AFC defensive player of the month for his monstrous September production. It's his first player of the month award.

Making Van Noy's start even more impressive is that he didn't even play a full four games. Van Noy suffered an orbital fracture in Week 1 and played just 20 snaps, missing much of the second half against the Chiefs. He has posted all six of his sacks in the last three weeks.

It's something of a career renaissance for Van Noy, who prior to joining the Ravens last season, had never posted more than 6.5 sacks in a season over 10 seasons. Van Noy even joined the Ravens late last year, signing in late September. He went on to have a career-high nine sacks to go with four forced fumbles in just 14 games.
Van Noy re-signed with the Ravens this past offseason on a two-year, $9 million contract. So far, it looks like one of the best values in the league.
