PFF's Zoltan Buday listed an underrated player to watch for all 32 NFL teams as we go into 2024. For the Atlanta Falcons, Buday stated that interior offensive lineman Drew Dalman was the most underrated player on the roster. Atlanta's offensive line was one of the best units in football, helping the Falcons to finish the season as a top-ten rushing unit. Dalman was one of the major cogs in that machine.

With all other Atlanta offensive linemen being top-40 picks in their drafts — including three first-rounders — the former fourth-round pick Dalman could have stood out in a negative way, but that was not the case. The Stanford product built on a promising 2022 campaign and ended up as the third-highest-graded center in the NFL in 2023 (82.3).

With an experienced signal-caller like Kirk Cousins at the helm, that will do nothing but help the center, as he can alleviate some of the pre-snap burden off him. Head coach Raheem Morris says that one of the pillars of their culture is their physicality. That physicality starts in the trenches, especially in the interior.
