ESPN's Marc Raimondi reports that Bijan Robinson may have hinted at his utilization in the new offense the Atlanta Falcons will be implementing under offensive coordinator Zac Robinson. According to Raimondi, Robinson believes his role will be similar to another running back selected with the eighth overall pick in his draft, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. Robinson claims he will be "more of a runner that does everything else" in 2024.

Last season, McCaffrey was utilized in a variety of roles in Kyle Shanahan's offense in his first full season as a 49er. However, when you look at the ways that McCaffrey was deployed in San Francisco and Robinson in Arthur Smith's offense, there are plenty of parallels between the two first-round running backs.

McCaffrey and Robinson are ranked first and second in number of receiving snaps from the slot and second and third in number of receiving snaps from out wide. Both players were drafted highly for their ability in both the run and passing game and their play-making abilities from anywhere on the field.

Along with tight end Kyle Pitts, Bijan's usage in Robinson's offense will be a worthwhile question as we continue to figure out how this Atlanta team will look in 2024.
