The Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts are conducting joint practices in the days leading up to their preseason game on Saturday, August 17 at 7 PM ET.
For Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, it is a reunion with his former colleague, Colts head coach Shane Steichen. They were the defensive and offensive coordinators for the Philadelphia Eagles during their 2022 NFC Championship season.
There is another common thread between these two teams. Each has or had a Marvin Harrison on the roster. Marvin Harrison Jr. is the rookie wide receiver for the Cardinals, and Marvin Harrison Sr. was a Super Bowl Champion and Hall of Fame wide receiver for the Colts. Both father and son were at the joint practice.

In the midst of this, Marvin Harrison Jr. answered a ridiculous question from the media with one obvious answer. Harrison Jr. was asked at Colts camp who his favorite player was when he was a child. He laughed and looked around before saying his dad.

Many wonder how the son's career will compare to his father's. Former Colts WR Reggie Wayne said that Marvin Harrison Jr. is "bigger" and "faster" than his dad.
From sitting with dad to getting his name called in round 1!
