The Arizona Cardinals have had a rough year defensively. They rank 27th in points allowed per game, and they've allowed the fifth-most rushing yards per game, as well. For these reasons, Vinnie Iyer of The Sporting News has the Cardinals taking Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant in his latest mock draft.
"The Cardinals have issues in pass rush and coverage, but they are extremely weak for Jonathan Gannon on the interior, too," Iyer writes. "Arizona also is bad against the run, and Grant can give them a disruptive nose who can also rack up sacks."
In the meantime, though, the Cardinals are looking to get back to .500, and move into first place in the NFC West with a win when they take on the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Their offense has been up to par thus far, ranking 10th in EPA per play and 11th in success rate.
