Tennessee, a team that has high expectations going into the 2024 season, will take the field on Saturday afternoon for its annual spring game.

The Volunteers wrapped up the 2023 season with an impressive 9-4 record, finishing on a high note with a 48-24 win over Vanderbilt in their SEC finale and a dominant 35-0 victory over Iowa in the Citrus Bowl. Tennessee racked up 383 total yards and 25 first downs in that bowl matchup, and it allowed the Hawkeyes to gain just 60 yards through the air.

A significant portion of the Volunteers' roster will return this year, including sophomore quarterback Nico Iamaleava. He is looking to build on his terrific performance in the Citrus Bowl (151 passing yards, four total touchdowns), which earned him MVP honors.

Josh Heupel, who is entering his fourth season as Tennessee's head coach, has a 27-12 career record with the Volunteers, including a 14-10 mark in SEC play.
