Texas A&M fans are born and bred to hate the University of Texas, so it's no surprise that they had a visceral reaction when Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers was announced as one of the cover athletes for the highly anticipated EA Sports College Football 25. Little did they know that things would get much worse.
Late Wednesday, video began to leak of the "loading screen" for the new College Football 25 game, and fans were immediately faced with multiple clips of Ewers video footage.
Friends, Aggie fans were not pleased:

This fan, apparently named Tyler, was not alone.
I think I’ll pass on buying now

Absolutely no way that will be the first thing I see on this game after waiting for 10 years… and the every. single. time. after. https://t.co/QJGHQMtv40

While it hasn't been officially confirmed that the leaked screens will be the perpetual starting sequence for the new game, there's been little pushback against them. That's tough news for Aggie fans, who look set to be stuck with a whole lot of Ewers for at least the next 12 months.
