The SEC has been historically viewed as the most dominant conference in college football.

It looks like EA College Football 25 agrees.

The upcoming video game released its top 100 players the week prior to its release. The list is littered with SEC talent, with 29 of the 100 players coming out of the conference.

Although he comes in at No. 2, LSU Tigers offensive tackle Will Campbell is tied with Will Johnson and Ollie Gordon III for the highest rating in the game with a 96 overall. Three more SEC players are right behind them at 95 overall, including Tennessee Volunteers pass rusher James Pearce Jr. as well as two Georgia Bulldogs in safety Malaki Starks and offensive guard Tate Ratledge.

As the highest-rated team in the game, it's no surprise to see Georgia's dominance on the list. They have six players listed on the top 100, with quarterback Carson Beck and defensive lineman Mykel Williams also sneaking into the top 20.

The Alabama Crimson Tide also feature six players in the top 100. Center Parker Brailsford and safety Malachi Moore both come in with 92 overall ratings, and even quarterback Jalen Milroe cracked the list with a 90 overall. Former Alabama safety Caleb Downs came in near the top of the list with a 95 overall grade, putting him at No. 5 on the list.

There are bound to be nonstop arguments about the ratings certain players and teams deserved. However, EA College Football at least made sure to highlight the dominance and talent of the SEC, which accurately reflects the real-life college football landscape.

The game releases on July 19, with gamers who preordered the deluxe edition getting access three days earlier.
