Nick Saban seems to be a bit more relaxed now that he's retired.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach attended ESPN's annual ESPYS. The greatest coach in college football history was given the Icon Award for a historic career that included 11 SEC titles and seven national championships.
Not surprisingly, Saban delivered an iconic speed after accepting the award. Two of his former players, Heisman Trophy winners Mark Ingram and Bryce Young, presented him with the award, and Saban had some fun with that.
"We have a good group of guys here," Saban said about his former players in attendance. "Enough that we could actually have practice after this."

Saban was quick to distribute credit to his players and shy away from giving it to himself. He mentioned that his players were great people as well as talented football players. He paid tribute to some iconic coaches in sports, including the likes of John Wooden, Bear Bryant, and Dawn Staley.
Miss Terry didn't go unmentioned, with Saban talking about the importance of her support.
"There's a lot of sacrificing that families make in coaching," Saban shared. "We actually moved 17 times before we ever got to Alabama. 17 times. So, I can only accept this award on behalf of all the other folks who contributed to it."
It was a very well deserved award for Saban, and his speech lived up to the hype. Alabama fans can only hope that Kalen DeBoer will have at least a fraction of the impact that Saban had on the program.
