The Missouri Tigers are quietly becoming a wide receiver hotbed.
Hayes Fawcett with On3 shared via X that 4-star receiver Jayvan Boggs had committed to Missouri. Boggs had previously committed to play for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and had offers from other top schools like the Georgia Bulldogs and USC Trojans.

Boggs is a 4-star receiver out of Cocoa, Florida. He comes into Missouri already with an ideal frame for an outside receiver at 6-foot-0 and 200 pounds. He'll be joining forces with fellow 2025 recruit and 5-star quarterback Matt Zollers. Standing at nearly 6-foot-4 and 203 pounds, Zollers is one of the top quarterbacks in the country.
It's another big recruiting win for the Tigers, who are quietly producing another top draft class. They currently have the 18th best recruiting class for 2025, ahead of other noteworthy programs like the Wisconsin Badgers and Washington Huskies.
Luther Burden III put Missouri on the map for receivers back in 2022. As the No. 2 receiver in the country, he had offers from every top-tier program imaginable. Instead, he decided to stay close to his hometown of East Saint Louis to play for Eliah Drinkwitz and the Tigers.
Burden has quickly developed into one of the most exciting players in college football. He finished 2023 as a true sophomore with first-team All-SEC honors, recording 86 catches for 1,212 yards and nine touchdowns.
After a breakout 11-2 season in 2023, the Tigers are going to need 2025 recruits like Boggs to quickly get acclimated to the program in order to keep this momentum in the SEC going.
