The Georgia Bulldogs program is in hot water yet again.

Two more Georgia players were arrested on Tuesday and Wednesday with misdemeanor charges for failure to maintain lane/improper driving and reckless driving, according to the Athens-Clarke County Sheriff's Office. The players were starting linebacker Smael Mondon and offensive lineman Bo Hughley.

Both players were involved in separate reckless driving arrests within a day of each other. They each posted bail of $26 and were released shortly after.

Kirby Smart will be asked questions about the two arrests, as well as the program's widespread problem involving reckless driving. The issues began in 2023 when a player and recruiting analyst were killed in a car accident that also involved former star defensive lineman Jalen Carter.

Despite the tragic accident, Bulldogs players have continued to be involved in driving-related arrests. According to The Atlanta Journal Constitution, 19 players have been arrested in driving-related offenses since that fatal accident less than two years ago.

Transfer running back Trevor Etienne was one of the most recent incidents, resulting in him pleading no contest to reckless driving and guilty to other charges in exchange for two DUI charges being dropped.

These arrests continue to plague the Georgia program. However, Smart and the Bulldogs have yet to issue severe punishments to any of the players involved.

It's unclear what the long-term solution for Georgia's reckless driving epidemic is. What is clear, however, is that the issue is continuing to run rampant throughout the program.

The Bulldogs season begins on August 31 against the Clemson Tigers. Time will tell if any players involved in these accidents will be suspended for the season opener.
