SEC football fans aren't thrilled with EA College Football 25.
The highly-anticipated video game dropped a dynasty mode deep dive video on Tuesday. The video takes an in-depth look at all of the features coming to the game mode, where you take control of an FBS program and help bring it to glory through recruiting, the transfer portal, and even potential conference realignment.
However, SEC fans have some beef with the trailer. The conference was snubbed not once, but twice in their national title predictions.
When discussing the new 12-team College Football Playoff format, the trailer shows a projected bracket for the upcoming season. You can see a picture of the bracket below.
The SEC is well represented, at least until the final game. The Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels, Texas Longhorns, and Texas A&M Aggies all make an appearance. However, the national title game ends up between two Big Ten schools, with the Oregon Ducks toppling the Ohio State Buckeyes.
To make matters worse, the trailer snubs the SEC yet again shortly after the projected bracket. On-field gameplay shows the Michigan Wolverines hoisting the College Football Playoff trophy after taking down Georgia.
Just wait until Paul Finebaum gets a hold of this trailer.
For as stacked as Oregon and Ohio State are, the Bulldogs are in prime position to win a national title this year. In fact, Georgia is currently the odds-on favorite to win the national championship next season.
Not only did Georgia not get a first-round bye in this projected bracket, but the Texas Tech Raiders and NC State Wolfpack got byes.
The SEC demands justice for these outrageous projections, but at least they're not as bad as the hot takes from the game's overall team ratings.
