With Tennessee Tech's 50-7 loss to Northern Iowa, Watson Brown became the first head coach in NCAA history to lose 200 games. Watson, whose coaching stops include Austin Peay, Cincinnati, Rice, Vanderbilt and UAB, now boats a 128-200-1 record all-time in 30 years as a head coach. Amos Alonzo Stagg has held the record since 1946, going 314-99-35 in his 57 seasons.
ESPN's College GameDay ran a segment on the elder Brown and ran a feature on the coach as he approached his 200th career loss.
