It's Week 3 of the college football season, and that means the Washington Huskies and Washington State Cougars are set to face off in the annual Apple Cup rivalry game.
Washington came just short of a national championship in January. The Huskies are 2-0 so far this season, having posted victories over Weber State and Eastern Michigan in convincing fashion.
In a 30-9 defeat of Eastern Michigan, quarterback Will Rogers passed for 261 yards and four touchdowns, serving as an admirable replacement to Michael Penix Jr., who was a first-round pick in the NFL Draft.

Washington State beat high-profile opponent Texas Tech handily, 37-16, last week. Quarterback John Mateer set a school record for QB rushing yards in a game with 197, and also had 115 passing yards and two touchdowns.
