Utah, Kansas State favorites to win Big 12 Conference football title in preseason media poll image

The talking heads have spoken — Utah and Kansas State are the preseason favorites to win the Big 12 Conference football title in 2024. 

The Big 12 released the results from its preseason media poll on its official X account on July 2, with Utah earning the top spot with 20 first-place votes and just ahead of Kansas State with 19 first-place votes. 

Utah is in its first season in the Big 12 after coming over from the Pac-12 Conference. The top five teams in the media preseason poll all received first-place votes — No. 3 Oklahoma State (14 votes), No. 4 Kansas (5 votes) and No. 5 Arizona (3 votes). 

Colorado was picked to finish 11th and Arizona State was picked to finish in last place.
