Utah continues to get plenty of love in the most highly-anticipated sports video game in years, with its defense coming in at No. 10 overall in the rankings from EA Sports College Football 25 ahead of the game’s worldwide release on July 19.
Utah was the highest-ranked defense in the Big 12 with an 88 overall grade and one of four teams from the conference to make the Top 25 along with No. 20 Colorado, No. 21 Oklahoma State and No. 24 Kansas State.
Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium was also the only Big 12 stadium to make the EA list of “Toughest Places to Play” at No. 18 and Utah’s offense was the highest-rated from the Big 12 with a No. 11 overall rating.
Utah is in its first season in the Big 12 after coming over from the Pac-12 Conference with Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado. The Utes open the season on Aug. 29 at home against Southern Utah.
