None of the upset Ohio State fans were able to ask head coach Urban Meyer questions after the Buckeyes lost to Penn State last Saturday.
Meyer’s radio call-in show on 97.1 The Fan featured no phone calls Thursday. Why? Because Skip Mosic, executive producer of the OSU radio network, decided none of the calls were worthy of making it on the air, The Columbus Dispatch reported.

Mosic said the caller questions “popping up on my screener was nothing that hadn’t already been talked about.”
“We only get him for a finite amount of time, and I don’t want to spend it on something that’s already been asked,” Mosic said.
Anthony Rothman, a co-host of the show, said he was disappointed in the lack of calls.
“I thought we’d have calls or that they would take calls. I don’t understand. It was a loss,” he said. “I know it’s disappointing and everyone wants to move on when that happens but I think these fans have a right to call in and be cordial and be objective and ask their coach some football questions, which they get to do every week after wins.”
No. 6 Ohio State hosts Northwestern this Saturday. Hopefully, for Buckeyes fans, the team returns to its winning ways so they can get back on the radio.
