New UNLV athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois has to get reacclimated to a daily life involving quiet hours, resident assistants, and coin-operated laundry.

That's because Reed-Francois is living in UNLV's on-campus Tonopah North dormitory, according to USA TODAY.

After leaving Virginia Tech, where she had worked since 2014, for UNLV, Reed-Francois chose to temporarily live in a dorm — before she finds a permanent residence — in order to become a part of the school's on-campus community.

“When I first set out to do this I wanted to be a part of campus and get to know our student-athletes and get to know my campus colleagues, so what better way to do that than live in a dorm? It’s been a great experience," she told USA TODAY.

Adults often say they wish they could re-live their college years. Well now, Reed-Francois gets to, albeit under unique circumstances. With a reported annual salary of $350,000, something tells me Reed-Francois won't have to live off of ramen noodles.
