Houston's Tom Herman makes good on promise, gets iced out grill from Paul Wall

Tom Hermann made a promise.

When he took the head coaching job at Houston, he promised his players he would get a custom grill if his team won the AAC championship. Well, the Cougars defeated the Temple Owls 24-13 on Dec. 5 to claim the conference crown, and on Monday, he made a date with hip-hop star Houston jeweler Paul Wall.

According to Doug Samuels, Herman's grill has a retail price of nearly $15,000.

Lets hope this is the first sign that grills are making a comeback. Lets also hope that Herman rocks the grill for the Cougars' Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl matchup with Florida State on New Year's Eve.
