Texas coach Charlie Strong is losing supporters by the week in the Lonestar State.
Now, it appears that disapproval has reached the corporate level. During the Longhorns' latest, and most embarrassing beatdown of the season (there are still eight games remaining), a 50-7 loss at in-state foe No. 4 TCU, whoever runs the Texas Rangers' official Twitter account made their disapproval of the second-year coach public, posting, 'Fire Charlie' # bye.'

Of course, the tweet was later deleted, but I'm pretty sure it expressed the general sentiment of many a Longhorn fan.
Plus, Strong is earning $5 million per year. He's got to able to take the heat, along with that nice paycheck, especially when his team is being taken to the woodshed.
And, as you might expect, the member of the Rangers' social media staff who sent out the the tweet got fired, on their day off no less. It reminds of me of Ice Cube's character "Craig", and his situation on the first installment of "Friday." The team has released the following statement.
