The 120th iteration of the Red River Rivalry will take place this weekend, as the Texas Longhorns take on the Oklahoma Sooners in what is now an SEC game.
Texas is one of three undefeated teams left in the conference. Sitting at 5-0, the Longhorns were off last week, but look to continue their dominant form against the Sooners.
Besides the obvious College Football Playoff implications, Texas is also on the hunt for revenge, as the Longhorns have lost eight of the last 10 meetings against Oklahoma.
However, the Sooners are looking to bolster their playoff resume, and there are few better ways to do it than against the top-ranked team in the country. Oklahoma's defense could be the perfect counter to Texas' high-powered offense, with top-10 national rankings in six defensive categories.
