As No. 25 Texas A&M coasted to a massive win over No. 9 Missouri on Saturday, the Aggies got some revenge in the process.

Earlier in the week, Missouri senior quarterback Brady Cook had some choice comments about the potential crowd noise in Kyle Field. But the famed "12th Man" got the last laugh.

When the Aggies hosted the Tigers in Week 6, Texas A&M dominated from start to finish. The team and its fan base made sure to not let Cook forget about what he said before the game, either.

Here's what Cook said about the "12th Man" at Texas A&M prior to the matchup and a look at how the Aggies dismantled the Tigers on Saturday.

What did Brady Cook say about Texas A&M's '12th Man?'

Texas A&M's student section and crowd at Kyle Field is known as the "12th Man," one of the top college football fan bases in the country, and also one of the loudest.

Cook downplayed the crowd's true impact in games at a presser this week, though, saying "the noise at practice is actually louder."

“They put these two speakers pretty much two-feet right behind me and, I mean, you can’t hear anything, it’s loud," Cook said, per Aggies Wire. "In stadiums, it’s loud, but it’s like a surrounding kind of distant loud, so it’s a little different. I think it’s just as loud or louder and tougher to communicate.”

Texas A&M prides itself on having a loud fan base at home, so some fans weren't happy about Cook's comments. Aggies head coach Mike Elko even chimed in on the topic.

“It has been interesting that we’ve had people call out Kyle Field a little bit,” Elko said, per Aggies Wire. “I heard their quarterback say today that it’s louder in practice than it is at Kyle Field. To me, that’s a challenge to the 12th Man.”

Both the Aggies' fan base and their football team stepped up to the challenge against the No. 9-ranked team in the country on Saturday.

The Aggies maintained control of Saturday's game from start to finish in their 41-10 rout.

Right off the bat, an Amari Daniels rushing score made it 7-0, and by the time halftime came around, Texas A&M was leading 24-0 thanks a field goal and two more rushing touchdowns in the second quarter.

To cap the first half, the team also had one of the best-placed punts you'll ever see in a football game.

Texas A&M maintained its strong play in the second half, coasting to a blowout victory at home. As their Aggies team dominated the matchup, the "12th Man" didn't let Cook forget about his practice noise comments.

The team itself even put the quarterback on blast on the stadium's video board.

With the loss, Missouri fell to 4-1 and is sure to fall in the polls after this week. Texas A&M, meanwhile, has now won five consecutive games after dropping its season-opener against Notre Dame.
