Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins missed most of the first half of the Tigers' College Football Playoff game vs. Ohio State on Saturday after suffering a possible head or neck injury. He returned to the game for the start of the second half.

Higgins was shaken up as he jumped for a pass from Trevor Lawrence in the first quarter. His helmet was knocked off his head by safety Jordan Fuller before he landed on his left elbow out of bounds.

Higgins later walked to the Clemson locker room with a trainer to be examined.

The junior came into the game with 52 receptions — second on the team to Justyn Ross — for a team-high 1,082 yards and 13 touchdowns. Ross left Saturday's game in the third quarter after landing on his right shoulder.

Clemson trailed Ohio State 16-14 at halftime.
