After two consecutive 2-10 seasons, Nevada brought in Texas defensive coordinator Jeff Choate as its new head coach to provide a spark for the Wolf Pack.
SMU is entering a new era in a new conference. After winning the American Athletic Conference last season, the Mustangs left to become a member of the ACC. After finishing 12-2 last season, the team will hope their success carries over against even tougher opponents.
