Nothing brings rivals together like a great song.

And Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” will be blasting on speakers throughout summer barbeques and settling into tailgates and in stadiums come fall across SEC college football.

What makes it so great? It’s the perfect sing-along tune that will always put fans in a great mood, especially when most are imbibing one of their favorite adult beverages while belting it out with friends and family.

The Virginia native has had quite a 2024 after gaining a massive new audience by being featured in two tracks in Beyonce’s wildly successful country album Cowboy Carter - “Spaghetti” and “Sweet * Honey “ Bucklin.’” From there, Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” skyrocketed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100, spending three weeks at No. 1 and still holding strong at No. 4 as of this posting.

Honorable mention goes to Dasha’s “Austin,” which even if you loathe the Texas Longhorns, will be close behind on your tailgate mix (and will be huge at sorority parties).

And for those of you oldies like me, the first song that immediately comes to mind with “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” crossed with “Austin” is Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.”

All three are absolute bangers. You’re welcome for making sure they’re a part of your SEC football party mix!
