“At this time, I have decided that a change in the leadership of our football team is necessary,” EMU VP and AD Heather Lyke announced. “Eastern Michigan University’s commitment to out student-athletes remain of the utmost importance as we move forward with the rest of this season and in selecting the new leader of our program.”
English was 11-46 at EMU.
English arrived at EMU in 2009 after a season as defensive coordinator at Louisville. He coached at Michigan for the five seasons prior to Louisville as a defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator in 2006 and 2007.
