Illinois will look to continue its remarkable start to the 2024 season when it hits the road to face Penn State on Saturday evening.

The Fighting Illini (4-0) secured their second ranked win of the season last week, pulling off an upset of Nebraska on the road. Quarterback Luke Altmyer threw four touchdown passes, including the game-winning score to wide receiver Pat Bryant.

The Nittany Lions (3-0) are coming off a 56-0 win over Kent State, a victory that assuaged concerns after the previous week's contest with Bowling Green, a tight 34-27 win. Quarterback Drew Allar (eight touchdowns, one interception) and running back Nicholas Singleton (314 rushing yards, two touchdowns) have sparked James Franklin's offense.

This game marks Illinois' first trip to Penn State since 2021, a historic nine-overtime affair won by the Fighting Illini.
