A little green van is all that one of the nation’s most well-known mascots needs to travel to the Midwest and meet its new friends.

Whether it’s crashing press conferences, or having a giant floaty on the White River in Indianapolis, the Oregon Duck has found a way to make its presence known in the Big Ten.

After being seen trying to break into the gates of Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, the Oregon Duck traveled up North to Minneapolis clinging to the gates of Huntington Bank Stadium.

The following day, the mascot took a four-and-a-half-hour commute to the University of Iowa, where the Duck was pictured outside Kinnick Stadium.

You have to wonder how much money is being spent on gas at this point, right?

The Ducks will not play the Hawkeyes or the Golden Gophers this season, so we will unfortunately miss the Oregon Duck paying a second visit to Iowa City or Minneapolis.

Nevertheless, the famous mascot will have plenty of opportunities to return to America’s Heartland, including visits to Purdue, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

So, the big question is, where’s the next stop? Madison, WI? Champaign, IL? West Lafayette, IN?

Unfortunately, students don’t go back to school for a couple more weeks. So the Duck won’t get the chance to meet any of the fans in their new conference, we think for now at least.
