The Gamecocks host the Rebels in Week 6 in what could be an unexpected showing.
South Carolina is breaking through this year under quarterbacks LaNorris Sellers, Robby Ashford and running back Raheim Sanders, who have combined for eight rushing touchdowns through four games. It helped the Gamecocks nearly defeat LSU, and while they certainly wanted that win, it was still a statement game for the program.
But taking down the Rebels won't be easy. Ole Miss has the best offense in the country under Jaxson Dart, but is coming off its worst performance of the season after being held to just 17 points in a stunning home loss to Kentucky.
Suddenly, Ole Miss is fighting for its playoff lives as the Rebels head to South Carolina which will have a second opportunity to score a major SEC upset in Columbuia.
