Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II’s draft stock continues to rise headed into the 2024 season.
USA Today has Gordon projected as a first-round pick in its latest 2025 NFL mock draft, landing with the Cleveland Browns at the No. 17 overall pick.
Gordon, 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, had 1,732 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns to go with 39 receptions for 330 yards and 1 touchdown in 2023 on the way to winning the Doak Walker Award and being named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. Gordon was also a unanimous Associated Press All-American.
Gordon is the third Oklahoma State player to be named Offensive Player of the Year following Chuba Hubbard in 2019 and Justin Blackmon in 2010 — all three earned the award their sophomore season.
Oklahoma State opens the season on Aug. 31 at home against two-time defending FCS national champion South Dakota State.
