College kickers, man.

Ohio State kicker Tyler Durbin was automatic from less than 40 yards this season, so when the Buckeyes lined up for a 20-yard field goal to tie the game, it seemed like a guarantee.

But Durbin shanked the 20-yard field goal to the left and Michigan retained its 17-14 lead. Now, he did redeem himself to force overtime with a 23-yarder to tie it with just one second left on the clock. Still, this was ugly.

Durbin missed a 37-yard field goal in the first quarter that would've given Ohio State and early 3-0 lead.

The Buckeyes kicker has had one other missed field goal this season: the one that was blocked by Penn State and returned for a touchdown. That proved to be the play that won it for the Nittany Lions, so will his two misses today spell disaster for Ohio State?
