No. 7 Notre Dame will travel to College Station to take on No. 20 Texas A&M in what could be the most anticipated game of Week 1.
The Fighting Irish have several key pieces back, but most importantly, they have their star quarterback in ex-Duke standout Riley Leonard. Notre Dame is hoping that Leonard will rediscover the form that allowed him to throw for nearly 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2022.
He will face a tough test in the season opener, as Leonard is going head-to-head with Mike Elko, his former coach at Duke. Elko has a long history as a defensive coordinator, so he will certainly know how to attack all of Leonard's weaknesses.
