Notre Dame vs. Navy represents one of Week 11's under-the-radar games — but one worth tuning in to watch.
The big draw of the matchup is Marcus Freeman's 20th-ranked Fighting Irish team, which has shaken off season-opening losses to No. 2 Ohio State and Marshall to go 6-1 in the seven games since. Notre Dame's only other loss this season was to Stanford in Week 7.
Since that defeat, Freeman's squad has won three straight games and scored at least 35 points in each, including a 35-13 shellacking of then-No. 5 Clemson. That victory placed the Fighting Irish back among the top 25 teams. They'll have a chance for another impressive victory at the end of the season at No. 8 USC.
Not a bad way to end a 2022 season many considered lost just two games into the campaign.

But first, Notre Dame must extend its four-game win streak over a disappointing 3-6 Navy squad. Bowl eligibility is still on the table for Ken Niumatalolo's Midshipmen. And you can never rule out an opponent in a rivalry game.
