North Carolina Central's celebration cost them the Celebration Bowl.
Receiver Quentin Atkinson caught a 39-yard touchdown pass to set up the game-tying extra point, but he took off his helmet in celebration, which is a 15-yard penalty.

The penalty backed the extra point attempt up 15 yards, and Grambling State blocked it. The ensuing onside kick failed, and Grambling State won, 10-9.
