An early high-stakes matchup is on the way, as Michigan and Texas, two of the winningest programs in college football history, will meet on Saturday.

No. 4 Texas is in its new era in the SEC and has already emerged as an early contender after the Longhorns demolished Colorado State 52-0 in the season-opener. With quarterback Quinn Ewers back at the helm and Arch Manning as a solid second option, the Longhorns offense and swarming defense is expected to give the Wolverines a difficult test in Ann Arbor.

The defending national-champion Wolverines, meanwhile, are coming off a more closely contested 30-10 win over Fresno State. After the departure of head coach Jim Harbaugh, quarterback JJ McCarthy, and running back Blake Corum, now all in the NFL, and a rebuilt offensive line, No. 9 Michigan will see how it holds up against top teams in Sherrone Moore's first year.

A battle between two of the nation's best, which team will get the victory?
